Tree Removal

There are many occasions when a tree needs to be removed whether it is for safety or to create space. We can safely remove any tree regardless of its size, condition or location. This work involves the careful lowering of branches and timber so as not to cause damage to lawns or surrounding structures.

Before starting the process we carry out a thorough risk assessment to ensure the safety of our customers, ourselves and to minimise disruption to the surrounding area.

Crown Reduction

Crown reduction is a good way to reduce the size of a tree. Whether it is to allow more light into your garden or to reduce the height of a tree, reduction is the perfect way to make a tree more manageable. Thinning out limbs, pruning back growth or the removal of dead branches can reduce the overall size and spread of a tree.

Crown Thinning

As trees grow the foliage gets thicker and the branches get heavier. Crown thinning means that the overall density and size of the tree is reduced. During the process of thinning we focus on selected branches to be removed so that the strength of the tree is not affected. These branches are often those that are either dead, crossing another branch or growing into the canopy.  Crown thinning creates an evenly balanced crown and can let more light into your garden and house and reduces the risk of downfall in heavy winds.

Stump Grinding

Removing trees or large shrubs can often leave an unsightly stump. Grinding it away with a specialised machine is the most efficient way to completely remove a stump. The machine grinds the stumps into chippings which can then easily be taken away.

We can also remove any existing tree stumps you may have.

Hedge Managment

Hedges are a lovely way to create a boundary but they do require regular management to ensure they look neat and tidy and do not become a nuisance. We can undertake any hedge trimming or removal.

Our hedge management service is carried out with care to ensure the hedge is left looking neat whilst also ensuring it can grow back with healthier foliage and a more pleasing shape and appearance.
